Day 5. Mile 550. Washington, mo

The weather is overcast, humid, and tepid. The tv says ill have sun and
90 degree weather in the afternoon. I rejoice. I should have bought the
camelback though. Ill have to remember to keep myself hydrated.

A continential breakfast at the lewis and clark motel means a few
donuts, cold bagels, and muffins with enough calories to power a yak in
the mountains. Still, I ate what I could and now I'm going to pack.
