Day 4. Mile 280. Dwight, il.

This was an unplanned stop, but its hard to enjoy the ride when your
mind is in your colon. The weather here is beautiful. Blue skies. Warm
weather. The omnipresent smell of lilacs. I was scared of a storm, and
dark clouds did loom over chicago, but out here, everything is
copacetic. I hesitate to write more on the subject for fear of jinxing
myself, but this is Gd's riding weather.

It was hard finding a dead road, and I had some pleasant rides while
searching. The road cuts through many fields and I went through an old,
wooden bridge that looked like a farmhouse on stilts. That excited me to
no end.

Riding with warped front rotors have given me some pause. I had to brake
suddenly while the road gave out to pavement.

Gotta send. Pagers dead. Last page for awhile.
